Monday, 22 Feb 2027 7:30–8:30 a.m. | Vielight | Personalized Brain Intervention: Live Demonstration of the First Wearable, EEG-Guided Closed-Loop Photobiomodulation System Non-invasive brain stimulation has moved steadily toward brain-state-dependent, closed-loop delivery, yet practical implementations outside the laboratory have remained elusive. In this workshop, Vielight presents a live demonstration of a wearable, operator-free system that measures an individual's EEG in real time and automatically re-selects photobiomodulation parameters — pulse frequency, wavelength, power density, and transcranial-intranasal delivery distribution — in a continuous adaptive loop, with the participant's brain activity displayed onscreen throughout. Because light introduces no electrical artifact into concurrent EEG, measurement continues during stimulation rather than between stimulation epochs. To our knowledge, this is the first non-invasive brain stimulation system in which measurement and stimulation run concurrently and parameters adapt continuously to the individual — outside the laboratory, without an operator. The session covers the system architecture, proposed operational criteria for this class of intervention, independent research directions, and open questions, followed by audience Q&A. A light breakfast will be served. The system is an investigational research platform; no claim of clinical efficacy is made. Research access for independent groups is available, followed by clinical and consumer-grade wellness models in 2027. The NEUROLITH device, CE-approved since 2018, is designed for TPS treatment and delivers energy non-invasively, reaching depths of up to 8 centimetres. A standard TPS treatment protocol involves six sessions within two weeks, with each session lasting approximately 30 minutes. Follow-up sessions are tailored individually, typically scheduled 4 to 8 weeks after the initial treatment series.
