Xuxia Yao

Dr. Xuxia Yao got her Ph.D in 2011 from Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology working in the field of liquid crystals and polymers. After graduation, she started to work at Intel Corporation (Chandler AZ) as a senior R&D engineer, 10nm Si Technology Epoxy Platform Lead and advanced electronic packaging pathfinder until 2015 before joining School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University. Her research interests include chromonic liquid crystals, liquid crystalline defects and advanced electronic packaging. She also served as a managing editor of Materials Today Nano.
