Self-paced learning designed for all Engineering researchers, librarians and faculty with access to the Engineering Village platform and databases.

Sharpen your search skills in Engineering Village and stay ahead in your field with our new, self-paced eLearning program—the Engineering Village Academy.

With expert-led video tutorials and practical exercises, this 10-lesson course will empower you with strategies to improve your research workflows, conduct precise searches, and analyze results with ease. You'll also preview new advances in applying AI to the platform.

Getting started

  1. Follow this link to enroll in the courseopens in new tab/window. You will then click the ‘Join the course’ button to enroll. All course materials and assignments are hosted by our trusted partner, Canvas. Follow instructions to complete your course registration.

  2. Read and watch the provided content. The course is flexible, so you can take lessons in any order.

  3. Complete a short quiz and brief surveys to obtain your certificate. The quiz consists of ten questions based on the materials covered. You need to score 80% to earn your certificate.

  4. Share your new certificate on LinkedIn and email.
