Manager of Library Technical Services

Marguerite Nel is the Manager of Library Technical Services at the University of Pretoria (UP). She holds Bachelor's degrees in Consumer Science and Information Science and a Master's focusing on information behaviour. Starting her career at UP in 1997 at the Veterinary Science Library, she moved to the main library in 2017. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Information Science at UP and has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, as well as presented at national and international conferences.
